Mornin'!

Jamaican haze plus java makes for a good start, to any day.:)

Somehow I woke up an hour early, yet my clock says an hour late...err.

Cool album, vinyl is making a comeback...and I still have a turntable.

Happy Sunday everyone.:)

I think everyone is up early today. Except maybe Arizona.

I have been up for a couple hours...a little 707 in the vape.

Going to open the diner in a couple hours...having a blast being the ‘chef’.!

Were doing a Video Review/Test of the Oil X Green System this week, just need weather to cooperate with a little bit.  Hardest part is choosing what strains to try it with! I received the kit on Friday afternoon and I will tell you its a well thought out and put together product, all us DIY'ers will appreciate the craftsmanship that went into this design. It was well packed and is all very high quality parts and pieces from the SS tubing to the Petri dish for final drying of the Extract.

@OilXGreen :double-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticoVery nicely put together! I am typically not someone who impresses easily unless your a good looking woman....lol...but I am thoroughly blown away by how well laid out this system is. I think a lot of people see the price tag without realizing how much value they are actually getting for $199. I cant see anything that has been overlooked by the Oil X Green guys.

Something about the time change, or just time of year- My sleep patterns get thrown for a loop...I will wake up randomly and be wide awake in the week before and after the time change. Been this way long as I can remember.

Purple Headband is smoking out of the bubbler, Have probably 20 hits left of the cartridge of Durban poison...I may need more of those, I got so much done last couple days.

For some unknown and comical reason, when I think of your diner...the old sitcom Alice pops into my brain.

Probably b/c Mel's diner was in the desert, one state east.

Giss my krits, err...kiss my grits.:D

in the movie Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, there is a scene where they walk into a cow skull restaurant front ... I helped build that. Got scars to show for it.

Having a more productive day. Evil in the house.... Not to mention, I wasted all of my productive hours trying to get the wife under way [to the Celtic festival] before mid afternoon. It was 11AM before she hit the door.  Then called me looking for her cell phone.  She was a wee confused....  I told her, she had to have the phone in the car, or she couldn't be talking to me. Then she calls again. Asking me to look in the clothes she was wearing ... to look for her phone, she couldn't find it in her purse.  Told her, again ... "It has to be in the car or you could not be placing this call." Phone blu-tooths to the car as soon as you get in the car  ... assuming the phone is on.

... and she is the "tech savvy" one in this marriage     lol

me, I worry about keeping the vacuum running and the coffee maker clean. And always good tunes. Whether she appreciates them or don't

Ive smoked at picnics, reuniunions, beaches, funerals, weddings etc....

the strangest place i ever smoked was in a camper while going down the highway- father in law driving, when the camper opend it looked like spicollis van from fast times at ridgemont high...

My brother in law at the time was 15-16 and had passed out from smoking, i was still hitting my bong when dad in law drives over Railroad tracks and his son bounced out of the bed onto the floor, it was dark as hell and still can hear him saying "I think Im hurt" and my busting out laughing...

So lets hear it Stoners of the Haven, whats the strangest place you have smoked up?

President Obama has written about his drug use as a teenager, but excerpts from a new biography of the president portray him as a party hardy high school and college marijuana user. And that has reform advocates calling foul on a president who laughs off serious questions about marijuana legalization and whose Justice Department is cracking down on medical marijuana distribution.

The new biography, Barack Obama: The Story, is written by veteran Washington political journalist David Maraniss and contains extensive material about the president's smoke-filled young adulthood including his leading role in the Choom Gang, with "choom" used as verb meaning to get high.

Obama choomed his way through the Punohao School in Honolulu and Occidental College in Los Angeles, Maraniss reports, citing interviews with the president's erstwhile colleagues. And young Obama wasn't just experimenting; he showed signs of being a serious pothead.

He created a pot-smoking trend among his peers called "TA," short for "total absorption," and also is credited with popularizing the notion of "roof hits," or rolling up all the windows in a car while smoking, then tilting one's head back and sucking the last remnants of smoke from the roof.

Young Barry and his Choom Gang buddies were so serious about their fun that they assessed penalties on their peers for wasting smoke by not inhaling fully. If you wasted smoke, you were penalized by being passed by the next time the joint came around. "Wasting good bud smoke was not tolerated," a member of the gang told Maraniss.
